I'm surprised;.I just read at Dan's post that his babygirl wasn't taking a bath before the umbilical cord ...fall off, I remember having learned how to bath Saskia with a Mid-wife the day after birth allready.(thus with that cord)
Those pictures of Ruby being bathed remindet me very very much of Saskia being bathed at the hospital.However you jsut see that this tiny little babygirl is relaxed in the bath,actually seems to enjoy it....with Saskia I think you jsut saw that she wasn't very comfortable in the beginning and then kind of relaxing. The comfort of the warm watehr and the soft hand of daddy or mum can't be beaten and it does remind Newborns of their live in the Placenta,live before birth.
